UNMC - Oncology and Hematology
The Division of Oncology and Hematology is interested in the diagnosis and treatment of all malignancies (cancers) that occur in adults. Treatment may include chemotherapy and immunotherapy, or pathway directed agents. High dose therapy with bone marrow or peripheral stem cell transplantation is also available. The Division of Oncology's physicians specialize in all types of cancers including: lymphomas, leukemia, multiple myeloma, urologic, breast, lung, gastrointestinal, brain cancer, melanoma, and all other solid tumors.
The Division of Oncology-Hematology is extremely active in clinical research with clinical trials, including investigator-initiated, NCI-sponsored and pharmaceutical industry sponsored phase I-III trials. It is a main member of the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology, an NCI sponsored cooperative group and a core center for the Bone Marrow Transplant Clinical Trials Network (BMT/CTN)
