Tour de Nebraska
Established in 1988 by Rich and Susan Rodenburg of Lincoln, Tour de Nebraska is a 5-day, non-competitive circle tour with a unique route each year to provide all cyclists a fun and exceptional opportunity to experience Nebraska from the seat of a bicycle.
A total of 450 cyclists ages 8-81 from 45 states have signed up for our 30th anniversary Tour de Nebraska, June 21-25, 2017. We'll pedal through the beautiful and iconic Nebraska Sandhills, an area we love for its quiet roads, dramatic vistas, winding rivers, cowboy towns, ranches, cattle, horses, wildlife and friendly people. Overnight towns include St. Paul, Loup City, Broken Bow and Ord.
Tour de Nebraska is perfect first time, multi-day cycling adventure for all ages. The Rodenburg and their staff sag your gear, plot the most gorgeous route possible and take care of meal and camping arrangements. Daily routes range from 45-70 miles and include rest stops in small towns between overnight host towns. It's a perfect way to experience the beauty, history, culture and friendliness of rural Nebraska.
People of all ages from nearly every part of the world have ridden Tour de Nebraska, and call it the most memorable adventure of their lives!
